A queue that runs on the counter, not on the internet.

The problem

Queue-management systems in clinics, banks and government offices default to a cloud setup — one dropped connection and the whole counter stops. They also tend to splash patient and customer names on public displays, which is a privacy problem the venue didn't sign up for.

The solution

Varisai (வரிசை) issues, calls and records queue numbers on a PC or tablet at the counter, running fully offline. Names never leave the device — wall displays show only numbers — and the queue continues even when the broadband is down. Windows and Android, English and Tamil with spoken announcements, with daily backup and reports. Optional thin cloud only for cross-venue tracking.
